Leadership Team

Ms. Ratelle is lead consulting actuary for Genesis Employee Benefits, a nationwide health care savings and reimbursement plan administrator headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has over 20 years experience in managing the risks of health care plans/insurers, health care providers and self-funded employers. Her consulting experience includes reimbursement strategies, product design, experience analysis, pricing, underwriting, administration, management reporting, risk modeling, contribution strategies, small group reform, and financial reporting. Market segments include commercial group (large and small), individual direct pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed Workers Compensation.

Ms. Ratelle has significant experience in the senior market (Medicare). This work includes Self-funded Employer Retiree Plans, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Select and Medicare Advantage products. Specific work related to experience analysis, design and development of these products, pricing strategies, and regulatory filings.

Ms. Ratelle is involved in actuarial and health care professional associations and was recently a member of the Health Section Council of the Society of Actuaries and member of the steering committee of the Minnesota Risk Adjustment Users Group. She is a speaker at Society of Actuaries and other health care industry association meetings.

Ms. Ratelle is a graduate of Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa with a Bachelors of Arts degree in mathematics. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  Next>>
